DVLA CHIEF EXECUTIVE ON THE BRINK?

DVLA CHIEF EXECUTIVE ON THE BRINK?
THE PUBLIC'S PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT - IN A RECENT POLL, A MASSIVE 90% VOTED FOR NOEL SHANAHAN TO BE SACKED
THIS BLOG IS IN THE INTERESTS OF THE GREAT BRITISH MOTORING PUBLIC WHO DESERVE BETTER SERVICE.

DRIVER AND VEHICLE LICENSING AGENCY

The DVLA appears to be a badly run organisation.

Ian Broom is Customer Services Manager and Noel Shanahan is Chief Executive.

Unfortunately, if you do encounter a problem, neither Mr Shanahan nor Mr Broom will be available to address your concerns.

Surely it is now time these pair of clowns were put to task over the running of this incompetent organisation.

The staff at their call centre in Swansea haven't a clue what they are doing or saying. I have been given bad information, causing me to be out of pocket by some £100. I have been passed around from one clueless department to another without anyone being able to address my concerns and I am sick to the back teeth of it.

So I now feel it necessary to name and shame the people responsible for this mess - Noel Shanahan and Ian Broom.

I do not feel either of them have - or will ever have - the necessary skills required to be capable of managing in such a high profile organisation. I feel it is now time these two were replaced and the department overhalled - with proper staff training administered.

MORE BAD SERVICE FROM DVLA - MAIL NOT RECEIVED?

Bad Buffy who is another disgruntled driver writes:-

"I hear you, I moved house 3 months ago and still have not recieved my log book or the one for my wifes car. You try to phone them and you get that stupid automated 'press 1 for....press 2 for...' and you can't get anywhere. They are just out to rob us blind. In future I will be sending everything to them recorded delivery, I suggest you and anyone else does the same."

Surely it is now time the Department of Transport and courts wake up to the fact that this department is failing badly and changes at the top are urgently needed.

DVLA is the worst service I received apart from royal mail, they are not doing anything properly and correct and their phone is not human talking and when e maill them, each time it is different staff e mail back kept asking same question again like a circle rather than sort thing out straight forward as it is, I sent v5 on sale of my car with covering letter saying my house is sold, and provided them with new address then alternitive uk address for receiving noticification but no reply, another letter to them ask refund my tax to my uk bank account also had no reply, now 5 weeks later, I had to e mail them like a yoyo circle again try to get things I should get from them, I feel sick about their poor work, if they need customer sent recorded letter all time why don't say so? shame about royal mail or what, when things go wrong by dvla they blame the royal mail for poor delivery, both of them should be name and shamed. directors should be sacked and staff should be retrained.
